A gorgeous Fungia Scutaria Mushroom fossil. Approx 4.5 x 4.2 inches. Dried mushroom stony coral, that is typically round or oval in shape, features a flat, distinctive round body with a central depression and radial ridges (septa) which extend outward to the edge of the coral from the center. This forms a unique ribbed pattern.

Dried mushroom coral specimens are sometimes used in home decor or as a collector's item due to its intricate and natural beauty.

To clean these fossils, we suggest using compressed air cans and a soft brush to avoid damage to their delicate structure. We have to add that even though we will do everything in our power to ensure your coral arrives in perfect condition, small pieces may work loose due to its fragility.
